Reticulus

Reticulus is designed to provide multiple utility services simultaneously; it provides handling for fresh water, waste water, data and communications, gas, electrical energy, heating and cooling in a single connection. Reticulus is uniquely positioned to not only integrate these various utility services, but also to save energy costs to the consumer in one easy to implement energy, waste, and communications infrastructure. Implementation of Reticulus infrastructure will provide the following benefits:

  1. A 30% to 60% reduction in energy requirements by residential and commercial properties and a greater than 50% reduction in fossil fuel usage.
  2. A greater than 50% reduction in emissions from fossil fuels for domestic and commercial requirements, resulting in a reduction of at least 20% in overall CO2 emissions.
  3. The provision of air-recharging stations partially powered by renewable energy, making air-powered cars viable, and potentially leading to a further 20% reduction in overall CO2 emissions.
  4. Minimization of Methane emissions from effluent processing.

  6. Minimizing pollution of groundwater sources by contaminated stormwater.

Individual households  break even on installation costs in just 3 to 5 years at current energy prices. Installers have a very profitable business, and break even on setup costs in just over 2 years. But the economic benefits of Reticulus go far beyond merely providing savings to residential and commercial properties - Reticulus dramatically reduces pollution and greatly reduces reliance on fossil fuels, particularly gas and oil.
